3-0 on G.O.D's as the Red Sox rallied to beat the Blue Jays last night.
Phillies/Mets UNDER 8 -120
Padilla vs. Trachsel
This game features two pitchers who have been extremely hot of late. The Phillies send Vincente Padilla to the hill tonight against a Mets team that struggles to score runs. Padilla is coming off a bad start against the Marlins in which he allowed 5 runs in 5 innings. But prior to that game, Padilla had been red hot, not allowing more than 2 ER in 4 consecutive games. It seems like Padilla has refound his 2002 1st half form. After a slow start Paddila is only 7-8 but has a very respectable 3.93 era. More importantly he is 5-1 with a 3.08 era against the Mets in his career. The home team sends a red-hot Steve Trachsel to the mound tonight against a Phillies team that is having a hard time scoring runs. A Jim Thome sore back might make it even harder to amass those runs today. They have scored more than 4 runs just twice in their last 11 games and that does not bode well for them tonight against the Mets "Ace". Aside for Dontrelle Willis, Trachsel might just be the hottest pitcher in the National League. He is 4-1 with an amazing 1.50 ERA over his last 5 starts, including 3 wins in a row. He has allowed a stingy 6 ER in his last 33 innings of work. Trachsel is 7-5 with a 3.24 ERA lifetime against the Phillies. If Trachsel can contain "Mets Killer" Pat Burrell (it seems like everyone can contain him this year), then we should be in for a very good pitchers duel tonight.
Play On: UNDER 8 -120 (Paddila/Trachsel) 8 units
Other plays:
Orioles +183 (1 unit)
Cubs +151 (1 unit)
D-Backs -167 (1 unit)
